Electrical Prospecting for Seasonally Frozen Ground (part3) - Estimation of freeze-thaw process and frost depth by the Self Potential Method -

Abstract he purpose of this study is to measure the self-potential target seasonally frozen ground with surface and underground electrodes, to disclose relationship among SP, frost depth and ground temperature, and relationship between self-potential (SP) and unfrozen water content. As a result, SP found one of useful method to understand the seasonally frozen ground.
