| Abstract | In recent years, injecting carbon dioxide (CO2) into the underground layers has been considered to be one of the effective solutions to prevent global warming. To ensure the safety of the CO2 storage, it is necessary to monitor the reservoir characteristics. In this study, electromagnetic responses of the CO2 reservoir are simulated using the finite difference method. In order to evaluate the grounded wire source, receivers and CO2 blocks were move to various places. As a result, compared with loop sources, the electromagnetic responses of grounded wire sources show more sensitive responses. And it was clarified the response is sensitive to the change of underground structures. |
