| Abstract | The basic theory of 1D full-wave acoustic tomography and some numerical experiments as the case study for estimating the attenuation structure along the sensor arrays are described. The 1D viscoelastic attenuation of the acoustic wave is simulated using the 1D finite difference method with memory variables. Then the formula of FDM includes the stress and strain relaxation as the properties of structure. The partial derivatives of the wave form by the properties can be calculated using the same form of the forward scheme of the finite difference. |
