Research on the non-destructive testing methods for concrete sluice ways (1): Review on the existing non-destructive testing methods for concrete structures

Abstract We have been studying on non-destructive testing methods for concrete structures. Our goal of the study is to propose a non-destructive testing method for concrete sluice ways. We have reviewed 80 published papers on existing non-destructive testing methods for concrete, in which elastic waves were mainly used. As the results, we found that there were few method standardized in the field. Further studies are needed to standardize new technologies for the purpose of proposing practically expedient methods for the concrete sluice ways.
