The interpretation of time lapse data obtained by seismic ACROSS source operated in Al Wasse water pumping field in Saudi Arabia

Abstract
The authors have developed the time lapse technology using the seismic ACROSS and seismic arrays. We have carried out the field operation using seismic ACROSS in Al Wasse water pumping field in Saudi Arabia under the supports of JCCP and KACST. We analyzed two months data obtained by this field experiment. All data of 32 seismic stations show very clear waveform changes during several day periods. Because of no seismic structure data in this area, we interpreted observed data using geological consideration. If an aquifer is located at 400m depth, very large surface waves could be generated. Truncating possible surface wave and S wave parts, P parts are back-propagated. The result shows temporal change during this period was concentrated in eastern part of test field.
