Site amplification factors based on spectral inversion analysis in Niigata prefecture

Abstract
Site amplification factors at strong-motion stations in Niigata prefecture are estimated by the spectral inversion analysis. Strong-motion data at K-NET, KiK-net and F-net stations operated by NIED and seismic intensity stations of Niigata prefecture are used. In the analysis, site amplification factors at four KiK-net stations are constraint by theoretical ones, which are calculated using S-wave velocity structure model. The S-wave structure model is estimated using the vertical array data of KiK-net. Estimated site amplification factors are consistent with those obtained in the previous studies. These results are utilizes to verify an integrated velocity model of shallow and deep subsurface structure of Niigata prefecture.
