Application of resistivity and IP tomography for skarn deposit survey

In this study, we conducted electrical resistivity and induced polarization tomography on a deep-depth ore bodies survey at skarn mineralization in granite and limestone rocks. The resistivity and induced polarization tomography are employed to understand the data using boreholes drilled inside the NMC molybdenum mine, Korea as a test bed. The results present that the image of resistivity survey and the image of chargeability show anomalous zone in different part and more valuable information can be achieved by use of two methods simultaneously than by resistivity survey only.
