Spectral Induced Polarization (SIP) method recently was conducted to develop mineral resources exploration technique in metal ore deposit, Korea. Because the metal ore deposit includes various sulfide mineral such as pyrite (FeS), chalcopyrite (CuFeS2) and galena (PbS) that have IP effects. However, IP method was not sufficient to find out these various sulfide minerals because that have some restrictions like limited frequency. In this study, we measured the SIP response for artificial specimen with sulfide minerals which are chalcopyrite, pyrite and galena. SIP was measured for volume contents and grain size of chalcopyrite, and mixed sulfide minerals each. The results show that SIP response increases by volume contents of ore and critical frequency is lower by particle size increasing. Critical frequency of mixed sulfide minerals also shows pyrite is lower and galena is higher for chalcopyrite.
