Inversion analysis of gravity anomaly for Pre-Neogene basement structure in Chuetsu-Area using the results of Wide-angle reflection and refraction surveys.

Abstract
We analyzed gravity anomaly data in Chuetsu-Area, Niigata Pref., Japan, using the results of Wide-angle reflection and refraction surveys. The seismic section and velocity tomogram reduced ambiguity of gravity 2D forward modeling and following 3D inversion analysis, which provids a model of Pre-Neogene basement structure. The inversion result shows some segment boundaries in addition to dominant density structure.
