An evaluation of liquefaction risk using electrical survey method.


Abstract
The great east Japan earthquake caused very big liquefaction damage over the wide area along Tone River and Tokyo bay area. The damage caused by liquefaction was unexpected scale, especially, in residential areas. The some investigation after the earthquake revealed that the liquefaction damage concentrate in the reclaimed land of the old river or wetland. Meanwhile, the degree of damage differs locally even in the same affected areas. The relatively small scale terrain and geological structure will effect to the liquefaction damage. In order to contribute to prevent liquefaction damage in future, we develop the some low cost investigation method using electrical survey method.
