Three-Dimensional Inversion of Fluid Flow Electromagnetic Method.

Abstract
In order to figure out the dynamic behavior of subsurface resource fluid, for example petroleum and geothermal fluid etc, it is very important to monitor the three-dimentional dynamic fluid flow in the reservoir using geophysical techniques. Mizunaga and Tanaka developed 4-D geoelectrical method that is called fluid flow electromagnetic method. Unlike fluid flow tomography method, not only electric phenomenon but magnetic phenomenon are observed simultaneously in fluid flow electromagnetic method. In this research, we developed the three-dimensional inversion program of fluid flow electromagnetic Method. We explored the influence of background noise by using numerical simulation. As a result, it is found that fluid flow electromagnetic method has a robustress against background noise.
