Development of new simple resistivity equipment


Abstract
Recent years, clean ground water has got more and more important because of the climate changes. So, deep aquifer which is in complicated geological formation is needed to be explored. For international cooperation to construct water supply system in developing countries resistivity method is often used. However, the cost of the devices is a big problem. On the other hand, it is reported that evolution of electronics technology can cut the geophysical equipment cost (Imamura, 2010). The purpose of this study is to develop new simple resistivity equipment. In this paper, overall structure, electrical circuits, and an example of basic experiments are showed.
