| | Abstract | | Small-loop TEM method was investigated to detect buried UXOs although large-loop TEM method is usually used for deep sounding. In order to understand the characteristics of small-loop TEM method, many basic experiments were carried out at Ito campus of Kyushu University. Based on the results, the survey of the simulated UXO was experimented. As a result, it was found that UXO detection by small-loop TEM method is more effective than magnetic method that is usually used for UXO survey. And furthermore, small-loop TEM method could narrow the location of UXO to the size of 30cm square. |
