This paper describes the spectral induced polarization logging device for detecting sulfide minerals in a borehole. The logging device includes a probe inserted into a borehole, a winch that lifts or lowers the probe using a cable, and a measuring instrument that is connected to the winch via the cable and transmits electric current and receives a measured potential. Spectral induced polarization logging was performed in a borehole of Gagok mine in Samchuck, Korea. According to these results, the spectral induced polarization logging device used in this study is very effective in detecting sulfide mineral for resources exploration.
