We introduce a new layer stripping method which locates the seismic reflections randomly. The method not only reveals reflection coefficients and arrival times, but also can be used to estimate P wave velocity just by having velocity of the first layer. The method can be considered as a solution for sparse spiking deconvolution problem as well, and the resulted reflectivity series can be used to reproduce the seismic data by convolution with known seismic wavelet. Our method showed quite reliable to analyze complex structures properly.
