Measurement of gamma radioactivity by use of bicycle in some parks and on the sidewalks of Koriyama-city Fukushima prefecture

Abstract
I measured gamma radioactivity at 1 meter height by riding on a power-assisted bicycle with the measuring instrument of a scintillation survey meter for Gamma and with the GPS recording equipment. While measuring the amount of space radiation, position was recorded every second using the GPS. This study was done in IITATE village on November 2011 and in some parks and sidewalks of Koriyama-city in Fukushima prefecture on December 2011, March, July and August 2012. I got a lot of supports of the habitants who were riding on the bicycle to measure gamma radioactivity. By various research institutions, a lot of hot spots have been reported yet. For many years from now, we must continue to measure the amount of radioactivity at many sites, especially, around school and school route, urban park, playground, public facility and hospital, etc. I will continue to research as much as possible in Fukushima prefecture.
