Evaluation of the Dominant Frequency of H/V Spectrum Ratio of Microtremor Measurement by Using a Wireless Data Acquisition System consist of Three Components


Abstract
In order to verify the effectiveness of the wireless data acquisition system consists of three components, we carried out microtremor measurements in 16 sites. We evaluated the dominant frequency of the H/V spectral ratio obtained by spectral analysis. The results we have obtained in this study are as follows. (1) For most sites, the dominant frequency is more than 3Hz, and we have considered that there is an engineering seismic base layer in shallow underground. However, because there is a sub peak between 1 and 2Hz, we have speculated that there is an S-wave velocity boundary deeper than the base layer. (2) From the above, we have been able to verify the effectiveness of the system developed by our company. (3) We have obtained the S-wave velocity model that satisfies the transfer function in a more shallow part 150m.
