Characteristics of sensitivity adaptive inversion method in 3D resistivity monitoring

Abstract
We examined the features when the sensitivity adaptive inversion method which changed the division situation of the parameter mesh according to the resistivity distribution of the ground was applied to the three-dimensional resistivity monitoring by the numerical experiment. In the comparison between in-line data by dipole-dipole and wenner array, and pole-pole array data including the cross-line data, the investigation depth was deep, and the analysis accuracy was also excellent in the latter. It is necessary to acquire some cross-line data and to increase the number of analysis data, when the two- dimensional exploration data is used. Moreover, analytical depth and the analysis accuracy have deteriorated remarkably when a regular noise of 3% is added to the analysis data. More good quality data acquisition is important in the three-dimensional difference tomography analysis by the SAI method.
