Evaluation of the regression equation of seismic velocity and core evaluation points by the bootstrap method


Abstract
Authors study on evaluation technique of the geo-risk which is the construction cost variation risk due to the uncertainty of ground condition obtained by preliminary survey for mountains tunnels. In the past study, we tried geo-risk evaluation by ground condition evaluation technique using the core evaluation points. In the ground condition evaluation technique using core evaluation point, we get the regression equation of core evaluation point and seismic velocity. Then the ground condition is judged using this regression equation based on core evaluation points converted by seismic velocity distribution in mountain tunnel location. In this technique, coefficients of the regression equation becomes a key point. However, there is often little number of data to use to obtain the regression equation, and an evaluation of provided coefficients validity becomes the problem. Therefore, in this study, we showed the regression equation evaluation technique using the bootstrap method.
