Surveys of subsurface structure around the Eastern Boundary Zone of Ishikari Lowland, Hokkaido -Tomakomai-Abira line and Chitose line-

Abstract
Seismic reflection surveys and gravity surveys were conducted along 19km and 8km long lines in the eastern boundary zone of Ishikari lowland, Hokkaido, to reveal the subsurface structure. Several folds and flexures are perceived in each seismic section. Folds are traced, tied and branched among the two new seismic sections and the past seismic sections. The Bouguer anomalies decrease eastward along each line. It indicates eastward dipping of the pre-Tertiary basement and smaller anomalies correspond to folds seen in the seismic sections.
