| | Abstract | | Locations where houses were damaged by the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku earthquake are very limited in Monou-cho, Ishinomaki city, Miyagi prefecture. Japan. To figure out factors that caused such an extensive damage in limited area, an investigation of house damages and observation of microtremor are conducted three month after the earthquake. As the results, locations where houses are seriously damaged correspond to places where resonant frequency of microtremor H/V is over 2.5 Hz. |
