New method to enhance the accuracy of airborne gravity measurement -- Use of the densely distributed GEONET stations and real time cm positioning using the the Quasi Zenith Satellite system

Abstract
We developped a national airborne gravimeter for the first time in Japan in 1998,and made measurements over the lines of 20,000km for the last 10 years. The results show that the accuracy and resolution of our measurements are 1.5mgal and 1.5km. Since gravity measurement on the moving platform depends on the accuracy of positioning we have enployed the GEONET established by GSI and further the QZSS satellite launched in 2010. We expect a better positioning accuracy of GEONET, particularly, a Real Time positioning of QZSS.
