Measurement of gamma radioactivity by car-borne survey in Fukushima Prefecture after the Fukushima Daiichi accident

Abstract
Natural radioactivity prospecting is one of popular geophysical prospective surveys. We did measure gamma radioactivity by car-borne survey in Fukushima prefecture two months after the Fukushima Daiichi accident as a professional of natural radioactive measurements. At the conclusion of this survey, the radiation dose data were interpreted and mapped as contaminated area in Fukushima prefecture. As a result, there are some points of higher radiation dose at a distance from the accident. Specially, we could draw the detailed map of Iidate village shown the points of higher radiation dose. And we recognized the inclination of dirty area in a park.
