| Abstract | Akita-Komagatake is one of volcanoes in the boundary range between Akita and Iwate prefectures. Volcanic condition of this volcano after the eruption of 1970 has been monitored by geophysical methods. Results of geothermal and geomagnetic observations are mainly described in this paper. The neighboring area of the 1970-crater was almost cooled until 1995. Recently, however, since almost 2006 the geothermal activity has changed to tendency of reactivation. Variation of geomagnetic field conformable to the geothermal tendency was observed. |
