A study of deconvolving waves of pseudo random sequence

Abstract
For developing the geophysical exploration using pseudo random sequence, a processing method deconvolving directly receiver records will be discussed. The geophysical exploration using pseudo random sequence has been developed for long years, but the method cannot be popular until now. Simultaneous exploration can be applied using pseudo random sequences with high orthogonality. Also, signals with enough S/N ratio can be acquired in theory using sequences with low amplitude of sidelobe. Low efficiency applying cross-correlation is one of the reasons of low practicality. Thus, we discussed the processing method deconvolving directly receiver records. Numerical trials indicated the method can be applied. Also, trials indicated the method has potentials increasing S/N ratio, but the method may be strongly influenced by noise.
