A joint inversion of deep subsurface structure model for strong motion evaluation(Part 1) - Simulation analysis -

Abstract
In order to make a deep subsurface structure model for strong motion evaluation, we need to integrate multiple geological and geophysical data and then adjust the model manually. To simplify this process, we have developed a quasi-3D joint inversion method to estimate 3-D S-wave velocity structure from various data sets which cover geological logging, gravity, seismic refraction, seismic reflection, microtroemor array and H/V data simultaneously. We also used the S-wave spectral ratio between two points as the ratio of response function for the inversion. We applied it to synthetic data sets to prove the validity of our method.
