| Abstract | Using the 3D subsurface structural model constructed in Part 1, we conducted the seismic response analysis and evaluated the spatial distribution characteristics of the 1st predominant frequency, averaged seismic amplification for some frequency ranges, the average shear-wave velocity in the upper 30 m (AVS30), and the maximum of peak ground velocity. Comparing the spatial distribution of the AVS30 in the present model and that derived from previously published model, we discussed that two different models resolve the different locations for large seismic amplifications. We concluded that the present model, which is based on the microtremor measurement and surface wave exploration for the targeted area, is useful for more detailed prediction of seismic hazards. |
