Estimation of S-wave velocity structure around IGA-UENO area using microtremor and surface wave method data. (Part 1: S-wave velocity structures)


Abstract
We constructed a 3D subsurface structural model using microtremor and surface wave method data around IGA-UENO area. We applied a joint inversion method of phase velocity of Rayleigh wave and horizontal-to-vertical spectra of surface wave for estimating of a 1D S-wave velocity structure of sedimentary layers. Depths of engineering basement (Vs470m/s) are about 10m. And maximum depth of seismic basement (Vs3100m/s) is estimated about 750m in the area.
