| Abstract | The greenhouse horticulture of strawberry using shallow ground water in the beach ridge part was active in Watari Town and Yamamoto Town in the southern part of Sendai Plain. Agriculture began to be restarted in a part of region though the greenhouses in this region received catastrophic damage by the tsunami due to the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake . However, the salinization was caused in existing shallow wells, and new water resources were required. Because the salt water wedge and fossil water lie behind the deposit in the coast region, it is necessary to avoid these. Therefore, the electrical prospecting was executed in the water resource development candidate sites, and the influence of salt water in the subsurface was appreciable. As a result, it turned out to be able to expect the shallow ground water use in the beach ridge. On the other hand, because fossil water exists in the lower alluvium and basement rocks, it has been understood that the deep groundwater use is difficult at the target point of deep well. |
