Multiple approach by various geophysical techniques for active fault investigations - A case study in the Kushibiki fault zone, Saitama prefecture,(No.2, GPR surveys)-

Abstract
We have been doing a research about an integrated approach using various geophysical techniques for active fault investigations in multiple scale under the research contract with the Japan Nuclear Energy Safety Organization (JNES). It is expected that the application of various geophysical techniques can delineate images of active fault on multiple scale, from shallow to deep, and in various physical views. We have chosen a Kushibiki fault zone in Saitama prefecture as a study area and applied mainly electric and electromagnetic methods in the FY 2009. In the FY 2010, we carried out seismic and GPR surveys. This paper describes the result of GPR surveys.
