Suggested standard format for describing geophysical section and the development of database system (2): Web-base graphic viewer softaware

Abstract
The digital standard formats of investigation results enable us to refer or re-analyze existed data, extract data, and integrate several different methods together. SEGJ organized the Digital Standard Format Consortium in 2009, and Hayashi et al. (2010) reported its activity in corporation with PWRI in Fy2009. The activity of the consortium in Fy2010 was centered on 1) the improvement of the proposed XML format, 2) further studies on XML format of storing raw or intermediate data, 3) the development of generalized Node-Element model section-view data processing and supporting software including format converter, 4) the development of Web-base graphic viewer software, and 5) the collection of existing (sample) data and building database for them. In this paper, the development of Web-base graphic viewer software in the activity is described. This viewer software is coded in PHP, a widely used general-purpose scripting language, and is capable of processing all proposed models of XML format.
