| Abstract | A new numerical program was developed to simulate the 1-D model response for marine Controlled-Source ElectroMagnetic (CSEM) method. The 1-D modeling of electromagnetic fields involves evaluating the Hankel transform. For this purpose, the linear filter method is mostly used, but under certain conditions, it may not be accurate enough for high-resolution data analysis. We developed a new program using continuous Euler transformation. This method is known to accelerate the convergence of numerical integration such as Fourier integration and can be applied to Hankel transform. As a result of the evaluation, the new program is much more accurate than the conventional ones. |
