| Abstract | Microtermors array observations were carried out at 3sites around Suruga-Bay. We estimated S-wave velocity structures from inversions of phase velocities of Rayleigh waves obtained from this observation. We also performed long-term observations of three-components of microtremors at 11sites in this area. The data were processed with a seismic interferometric procedure to obtain the Green's function between every pairs of 2 sites. We derived the group velocities of Rayleigh waves from the Green's function, to estimate S-wave velocity structures as the average models between each 2 sites. Finally, we showed the depths of the basement in or around of Suruga-Bay estimated by the results of this study and the previous model. The depths to the basement were characterized in each area. Specially, we could estimate the S-wave velocity model of the inside of the Suruga-bay using the method of seismic interferometry. |
