Continuous resistivity monitoring of Onikobe geyser using high speed resistivity survey meter


Abstract
The mechanism of gush of hot water from geyser is studied for long time. If we can observe geyser using 3D tomography, it is very useful and effective method to understand the mechanism. At the Onikobe geyser, we carry out the monitoring of a geyser using the multi-transmission high speed resistivity survey meter developed by AIST. As a result, we obtained clear resistivity image change using the equipment.
