| | Abstract | | A lot of equipments to cover a survey area are necessary for long-term monitoring of behavior of resource fluids, such as petroleum or geothermal fluid, with high accuracy. Using low-cost equipments is effective to reduce total survey cost during the long-term monitoring survey. A low-cost small MT equipment has been developed using inexpensive and sensitive tri-axial MI sensors. The small MT equipment has been improved its frequency resolution for practical use with SDHC memory card storage. As a result of field tests of the improved equipment together with a common data logger, the improved MT equipment could observe electromagnetic field variations accurately. |
