Proximity microseismic doublets measured at the Soultz geothermal field,1993

Abstract
We analyze proximity microseismic doublets that were measured during a hydraulic fracturing at the Soultz hot dry rock field. The proximity microseismic doublets are similar microseismic events with a short interval. We detect the interval between P-wave arrivals in the proximity microseismic doublets with Time-Quefrency analysis. We found five proximity microseismic doublets that showed a clear peak at the quefrency of the P-wave interval in the Time-Quefrency analysis. We determine relative location between their sources of the proximity microseismic doublets.
