| Abstract | We reevaluate the 3-D underground velocity structure in Tokyo metropolitan aria using by H/V of earthquake ground motions observed by MeSO-net. In this report, we focus on the stationarity of H/V of earthquake ground motions by applying time-frequency analysis and verifying differences of H/V calculated by several recording data. Variability of H/V of coda waves excited by 9 earthquakes larger than M6.5 is quite small, so that we conclude that H/V of coda waves is efficient enough to allow making a 3-D underground velocity structure. However, Love waves are contained in horizontal components as well as Rayleigh waves. In case of using the amplitude of H/V of coda waves, we need to apply a radial component of coda waves for H/V to avoid the effect of Love waves. |
