Extension of the Gassmann-Biot theory of Porous Media, Part 8, Separation of the first and second dilatational-wave equation, Momentum non-coupling modes

Abstract
In order to satisfy the free-surface boundary conditions of the half space porous media, we have to separate the two kinds of the dilatational waves which characterize wave propagation in the porous media. The separation is achieved by the momentum non-coupled modes, in which the momentum of solid, or fluid, part does not accompany the momentum of the fluid, or solid, part. Using such momentum non-coupled modes, we found the existence of the two kinds of the Rayleigh waves.
