Fundamental study of thermal conductivity well logging and monitoring

Abstract
The estimation of several physical soil parameters in underground or its monitoring are important for the development of radioactive nuclear waste or CCS. So far, the well logging or monitoring method using resistivity or seismic wave is commonly applied for the purpose. These methods are important, however, the applications of the methods are restricted because of the limitation of metal casing or salinity environment. The thermal conductivity well logging method recently becomes to utilize in the Geo-heat application. However, the limitation or accuracy of the method or relationship to the soil parameter was not studied enough. In this paper, I describe and introduce the aspects of the problems or relationship to the physical parameter in soil.
