Clarification for structure of surplus soil deposits using 3D resistivity survey

Abstract
We conducted a labor saving three-dimensional 3-D resistivty survey on surplus soil deposits from constructions. Rsesistivity profiles were interpreted by the borehole and electrical logging data. As a result, the profiles reflect the variation of facies in the deposit. In contrast to this, the boundary between the deposit and the lower layer is not clear. There is a large possibility that the 3-D resistivity survey is a useful method for a complex structure such as landfills.
