| | Abstract | | Microtremor observations were carried out by using one tri-axial seismometer at 77 sites in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. The depths of the basements were estimated from the peak or trough periods of microtremor H/V. S-wave velocity structures at four sites were estimated by using Rayliegh wave phase velocities estimated from microtremor array observations on the southwest to northeast experimental line, too. The both results show that the estimated basement depths were gradually decreasing from the southwest area to the northeast area. |
