| | Abstract | | Hydrothermal mineral deposits in the EEZ of Japan are brought to attention as the supply sources of metal resources in recent years. We focused the Square-Array electrical survey as the method for exploring the hydrothermal mineral deposits. The Square-Array has an advantage of capability of various measurement directions with small places, which gives the information about resistivity anisotropy. We have conducted the basic experiment of the Square-Array DC electrical survey with a water tank. We have obtained some fundamental responses of the conduit in the brine saturated sand. |
