Advancement of Tunnel Geophysics Part2 Database and software for interpretation


Abstract
P-wave velocity obtained through a seismic refraction method for tunnel construction can not be directly used for tunnel design. Other information, such as borings and geological reconnaissance, must be interpreted together. Data acquisition and analysis of the seismic refraction method have been recently developed and a tomographic analysis method has increased the accuracy of the refraction method. However, only few attempts have been made to develop the interpretation of the method. In this paper, we are going to study database and software for the interpretation of the seismic refraction method for tunnel construction.
