| 講演要旨(和文) | | 近年,活断層の存在が十分に認識されていなかった海域での地震が相次ぎ,最新の調査手法による海域活断層調査が必要とされている.宇和海は豊後水道と接する四国西部の海域であり,中央構造線以南の外帯に位置する.外帯に顕著な活断層は知られていないが,幾つかの活断層が推定されている.そこで,活断層が存在するかどうかを明らかにするため,我々は宇和海で各種音源を用いた海上音波探査を実施した. |

| | 講演要旨(英文) | | Earthquakes in the sea areas where the existence of the active faults has not been recognized enough occurred one after another in recent years. These earthquakes require detailed active fault surveys by the latest methods in the sea areas. The Uwa Sea is located in the southern parts, Outer Zone hereafter, from the Median Tectonic Line in southwest Japan. There are no remarkable active faults in the Outer Zone, but a few active faults have been presumed. To clarify whether active faults distribute, we conducted an active fault survey using various types of acoustic sources in the Uwa Sea. |
