| | Abstract | | MEXT Ministray of education, culture, sports, science and technology, JAPAN started the development program for the seafloor hydrothermal deposit. We applied to this program, and our proposal was adopted. We start to develop new electro-magnetic survey tools for the seafloor hydrothermal deposit. We proposed two types of EM survey tools. One is the EM profiler based on the loop-loop EM survey. The other is the EM radar which is similar GPR method. The key of each tool is the development of the efficient receiving and transmitting antenna in the low frequency range. In this presentation, we will report the background and outline of our development project. |
