Examples of long-range ground deformation measurement using Envisat/ASAR data.

Abstract
InSAR time-series analysis is effective method for long-range ground deformation measurement. The results of this analysis suggest that local uplifts and subsidence occurred at irregular time intervals in this area. They provide some utility information relative to the occurrence of spatial and temporal events. We perform InSAR time-series analysis using ENVISAT/ASAR data and commercial software in order to investigate discontinuous movement in Kanto district. The error factors of InSAR measurement are registration error, estimation error of the distance between orbits, the phase limit of the critical distance between orbits, the atmospheric phase delay, low coherence, a sensor noise, and the error of DEM. When actually analyzing, InSAR pairs acquired at the same season are used to avoid the problem of atmospheric phase delay. In this study, we performed InSAR measurement in consideration of these error handling.
