A scheme for fast calculation of denser partial derivative matrix in travel time tomography

Abstract An fast scheme for the calculation of partial derivative for the travel time tomography without rays is described. The travel time field calculation utilizing the pseudo eikonal solver and its reverse construction from stored dependency between the neighboring grid are useful for cost reduction.
