| | Abstract | | In this paper, we show experimental results obtained by a dipole array antenna fed by coaxial cables of directional borehole radar. We made the directional borehole radar system with the dipole array antenna, which was fed by semi-rigid cables. With this system, we conducted field experiments in granite. In this experiment, we set one transmitting dipole antenna and the receiving dipole array antenna in single borehole, and we found reflected waves from some interfaces in the radar signals. With the data, we tried to estimate directions of arrival waves. |
