| | Abstract | | Ground-penetrating radar enables us to investigate the shallow part of structure. GPR has an advantage that it has a high resolution. On the other hand, there is a weak point that we cannot investigate the deep part of structures. The numerical calculation has not been frequently used when we design the shape of antenna with high efficiency for deeper penetration. In this study, we compare the new design of antenna with a bow-tie antenna used frequently, and try to find the characteristics of antenna which enabled us to investigate deeper part of the structure than the conventional antenna. |
