Estimation of underground structures in Takada plain using array measurement of microtremors


Abstract
In Takada plain, on the northern coast of central Japan, where there was little information of the seismic velocity structure model, the array measurement of microtremors was carried out, and the S-wave velocity structure models are estimated at four sites. Using the estimated structure models, we calculated synthetic seismograms for M4 class earthquake, which occurred near the 2007 Niigata-ken Chuetsu-oki earthquake. The calculated waveforms show good agreement with observed one for the body wave part.
